Malaysia, has for so long been in my "to go to" list.
"Why?" some may ask.. Well, it's near, beautiful, affordable and... wait for it... Truly Asia. *haha!wink*
I moved to Singapore this June.. Anyone and EVeryone knows that crossing the border to get to Malaysia is a mere bus ride away. I can't believe it took me four and a half months to get up and get a move on it.
If you've been to Malaysia, bets are you've gone straight to Kuala Lumpur to gaze at the majestic Petronas Towers. Well yeah, I've thought about that too, but the main reason for my wanting to travel anyway, was to get away from the city and be one with nature. Not that I'm stressed or anything, but there's always this feeling of wanting to dig my toes into the sand and carelessly sunbathe 'til you get that pretty lil cafe-au-lait tan.

the Sultanate of Johor |
I came to know about this remote island shangri-la through my housemate's travels. Being the chatty girls that we are, she had mentioned about this unforgettable resort she has gone to and suggested that I go with 2 of her friends.. Unforgettable, really. It deserves a blog entry ^^,
November 2011

Hope these pictures are good enough to persuade you to pay a little Rawa visit.
These are just a fraction of what the island has to offer. When you're in a place like this, you'll forget you even had gadgets with you.
