It has been almost 3 years since I last dined at the PNKY cafe. I was so impressed at how much has improved on the food, service, and the cafe itself.. The last time, I remember an old, gloomy feel to the cafe. It wasn't 'til recently that I decided to give it another go.
My sister and I just got off the bus from Manila and met my mother and brother out for dinner. The Panagbenga parade had just ended and Session Road was being prepared by entrepreneurs for their week-long street fiesta. Of course, it was expected that the Baguio locals and tourists flocked to the nearby food establishments. That's what Filipinos do after watching a parade. They eat. :)
SM and Session Road?.. crossed out from our dinner options.

I was relieved when we got there: No customers, No competition.
We all lit up once the menus were handed to us. Creative and informative. They really didn't have this 3 years ago. (haha) Only after the menu did I notice the change in interior design of the cafe.
Instead of it just being a cafe, a theme was incorporated into the place and the menu. Even the dish names were changed to fit the theme. Very wise, especially for a cafe targeting tourists as their customers.
The theme? TRAVEL, of course. Hence, PNKY Travel Cafe. :)
